Week of the Young Child

The “Week of the Young Child” was established in 1971 by NAEYC to focus public attention on the rights and needs of young children.  The “Week of the Young Children” is a time to recognize that children’s opportunities are our responsibilities and to recommit ourselves to ensuring that each and every child experiences the type of environment that will promote early learning.  In celebration of the “Week of the Young Child,” Sunbeam children will have a several different activities planned during the week.

Monday: St. Jude Trike-a-thon

Wednesday: Bubble Blowing Extravaganza

Thursday:  Artsy Thursday (Annual Spring Gala)
