Our Garden

Our garden is a large part of our Spring, Summer, and Fall experiences.  Each of our Toddler and Pre-K classrooms are included in the planting, caring for, harvesting, and preparation of our garden.  The children and teachers take pride in caring for and harvesting the garden.  Our food specialist also plays an important role in the preparation of the harvested items. We find that children are more interested in trying new vegetables when they have been given the opportunity to plant, take care of, and harvest them. We also set up a small farmers market with extra garden items for our families.
